At today’s discussion meeting, Peace International Human Rights reviewed its activities over the past five months and held constructive discussions. Several key decisions were taken to reduce the hardships of day laborers and underprivileged people. As part of the initiatives, winter seasonal fresh markets (Kacha Bazar) at fair prices will be launched soon to support low-income communities. Additionally, the Chairman of Peace International Human Rights, Md. Kamrul Kais Chowdhury, announced the start of free mobile medical services and free legal aid programs for marginalized groups. These initiatives reflect a strong commitment to human rights, humanity, and justice.
Name: Sakhina Begum Husband: Somi Ullah Address: Emdad Mia Para, Gendaria, Banshkhali, Chattogram. For the marriage of her daughter, Sakhina Begum took a loan of BDT 80,000 from an NGO. After receiving the money, a fraudster, under the pretense of providing assistance, deceitfully took away the entire amount from her. Seeking justice, she approached the local police station; however, she did not receive effective support at the initial stage. Although a case was later filed, due to her lack of knowledge about legal procedures, a final report was submitted in the case, which eventually led to the dismissal of the case by the court. As a mother of seven daughters, Sakhina Begum has been suffering immensely on one hand from the pain of being unable to arrange her daughter’s marriage, and on the other from the heavy pressure of the NGO loan leaving her in extreme distress. Today, in a tearful condition, she sought legal assistance from the Peace International Human Rights legal team. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the organization’s lawyers have taken legal steps to reopen and revive the case. In defense of human rights, #Peace_International_Human_Rights always stands beside the people.
On a freezing winter night, when the cold becomes unbearable for the helpless, Peace International Human Rights stood beside them with compassion and care. Warm blankets were distributed to bring comfort and relief to those struggling against the harsh cold. A blanket is more than just protection from winter it is a symbol of love, empathy, and humanity. Standing by people in need is our strength, and serving humanity is our true identity. Spreading warmth on such a cold night remains our greatest achievement.
